Exhibition: Ecole Boulle students unveil their creations

In 2022, the Fondation Etrillard co-created with Ecole Boulle an educational program offering 2nd and 3rd year students the opportunity to study and reinterpret emblematic works from its collection.

The Foundation's tapestry “Narcisse et Écho”, woven in the early 18th century by the Gobelins manufactory from a design by Antoine Dieu, served as the starting point for 10 creations by students in 8 different workshops (Decoration and surface treatment, cabinetmaking, marquetry, jewelry art, chasing, bronze mounting, sculpture and furniture restoration).

The tapestry will be exhibited in dialogue with their diploma works from Friday June 21 to Saturday June 22 at Ecole Boulle, from 9am to 4pm. The public is welcome to attend, and can reserve by clicking here.

In addition, a jury of teachers and members of the Foundation will take place on June 20 to choose a winning work from among the 10 reinterpretation projects.
