New edition of the “Âmes d’Œuvres” Craft Competition

Following the success of its first edition, which saw chair maker Louis Monier awarded, the Foundation is launching the second edition of the Âmes d'Œuvres Competition, with a renewed desire to discover exceptional works while preserving European craftsmanship.

To participate in this competition, craftspeople and designers must draw inspiration from one of the Fondation's flagship pieces and reinterpret it by creating an original work. The second edition, 2025-27, invites candidates to revisit an anonymous work, probably created by an Italian sculptor and stone carver around 1780: the Vase aux lions.

Once selected by a jury of art experts, the winner will create his or her piece, which will be exhibited to the public and added to the Fondation Etrillard's collection. He or she will receive a prize of CHF 40,000.

Applications can be submitted from 2 June to 18 December 2025 on the foundation's website.
