The exhibition ‘Di storie e di arte’ on the history of Palazzo Vendramin Grimani opens in Venice
Our Italian daughter foundation, the Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro, opened its new exhibition, Di storie e di arte. Three Centuries of Life at Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, in Venice on April 12, 2025.
Curated by Massimo Favilla and Ruggero Rugolo, with exhibition design by Daniela Ferretti, the exhibition reveals the history of the Palazzo – now home to Fondazione dell’Albero d’Oro – through three centuries, describing the lives of its inhabitants and of the illustrious Venetian families who once owned it.
It will feature previously unseen works of art from the families’ collections as well as archival documents, books, original clothing, historical photographs. It will also be enriched by a selection of videos and animations, providing visitors with the opportunity to "meet" the protagonists of the palace's history, brought back to life.
This fascinating exhibition is open until November 23, 2025 at the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani.
