The Fondation Etrillard supports the Fondazione dell'Albero d'Oro, which runs the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani, organising a wide range of activities to promote the city of Venice and its history. The venue, overlooking the Grand Canal, reopened to the public in spring 2021 with a rich cultural programme. The Fondation Etrillard contributes to the revival of the palace by loaning works from its own collection. These loans are an example of the owners’ collector spirit. The visit is organised to create confrontations between past and present artistic expression. For example, the Palazzo Vendramin Grimani shows the Foundation’s tapestries beside photographs and watercolours, and more contemporary installations.
